The West Side Highway is a notorious Manhattan thoroughfare that has been around since the late 1920s and has been through a number of iterations with the "highway" portion dismantled in the 1980s. It is now the surface section of New York State Route 9A (NY 9A) and runs from West 72nd to Lower Manhattan. This might be a confusing submarket as its not a "neighborhood" compared to the other listings on our site but we wanted to include commercial property along the route that could not be classified under a specific neighborhood.
